The Leading Edge Business Forum Newsletter is designed to cover issues which are relevant to business to-day. Effective market research for key themes is undertaken for each edition. For example, the theme, small business, has been identified where effective use of research is important for all businesses, big and small. The articles and reference materials cover a range of important issues, including being clear about your research objective, how to undertake research, sources of research information and the importance of using the results of your research to improve your business.

CIT Solutions Pty Ltd

CIT Solutions Pty Ltd is the commercial training arm of the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) which has focussed on providing customised training, education and consultancy services in the ACT, Australia and internationally, since 1988.

ACT & Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The ACT & Region Chamber of Commerce & Industry is a non-government, not-for-profit organisation that provides a full range of support services to its members including networking, training, promotion and marketing, seminars and workshops. The Chamber has a strong focus on Workplace Relations assistance including Awards and Agreements and Occupational Health & Safety compliance.

Canberra Business Council

The Canberra Business Council is Canberra’s most prestigious business organisation; the Council holds strong affiliations with most of Canberra’s pinnacle business organisations.

The mission of the Canberra Business Council is to:

  • Promote the role of Canberra both as the National Capital and as a business centre
  • Support and promote the retention and growth of business across all industry sectors of the Australian Capital Region
  • Focus on strategic and global issues, whilst relying on industry groups to address the detail of industry-specific issues
  • Foster a positive relationship with the industry associations, which are the Council's Kindred Organisations and encourage cooperation between and with them

Acting as a facilitator between government, business and the broader community, we aim to provide a better economic future for our region through the growth of the business sector.

Canberra Business Advisory Service

The Canberra Business Advisory Service was started in January 2001 to help people with business issues and problems in the ACT (Australian Capital Territory) and people interested in doing business in the ACT.

CanBAS’ services have been designed to not only help people with a particular issue or problem, they have also been tailored to help overcome particular hurdles that can emerge during the business journey, including:

  • Starting up
  • Employing people
  • Growing your business
  • Building networks
  • Maximising e-business opportunities

Capital Region BEC

The Capital Region BEC (CRBEC) is a not-for-profit organisation whose role is to assist the growth and development of the small business in our region. We are part of network of around 130 Business Enterprise Centres across Australia (and around 20 within NSW).

We to provide information and other services to assist business people to make more informed business decisions.
